Built on Construction Experience
Nexus Low Voltage was founded by someone who has spent decades working in and around residential construction—on jobsites, in operations, and directly with builders and project managers.
That experience shapes how we operate—on every project.
We don’t approach low-voltage as a standalone system.
We treat it as part of the build.
Why Nexus Was Created
Across custom homes and high-end remodels, low-voltage is often introduced too late, scoped without regard for the construction process.
Nexus Low Voltage was created to solve that problem.
Our role is to integrate low-voltage cleanly into the construction process—from prewire through final turnover—so builders can focus on delivering great homes.
How We Operate on Active Jobsites
Nexus is structured around construction sequencing—not retail sales goals.
Our work is planned, coordinated, and executed to support the build—not disrupt it.
Early plan review and prewire coordination aligned with the construction schedule
Defined scope and allowances established prior to prewire to prevent mid-build changes
Clear documentation and trade alignment throughout the build process
Homeowner guidance handled directly, without pulling builders into technology decisions
Systems installed, validated for construction close-out, and documented, with final commissioning coordinated once the home is move-in ready
We measure success by how seamlessly our work fits into your construction schedule.
Final system commissioning is intentionally scheduled post–construction close-out, once power, network, and occupancy conditions are stable—ensuring systems perform as intended without impacting the construction schedule.
The Builder Relationship
Nexus is a strong fit for:
Custom home builders
Design-build firms
High-end remodels and large-scale renovations
We are not a fit for projects driven by last-minute decisions or unclear scope.
Where We Work
Our primary focus is custom residential construction throughout Houston, TX and the Greater Houston area, including Memorial Villages, River Oaks, The Heights, Bellaire, West University, The Woodlands, and Galveston.
We’re also open to select projects outside the metro when the scope, schedule, and coordination align.
.
The Bottom Line
We integrate into your process, take ownership of our scape, and operate with the same accountability you expect from every other trade on the jobsite.
